Lan-Mei Cheng was born is in Taiwan and her father is a professional artist. She graduated from the department of education of Chiayi Normal University.  Then, she obtained her MBA from Asia Pacific International University. She taught fine arts in Taiwan for more than 30 years. Later, she immigrated to USA. Now, she stay at Shanghai as a professional artist. Her painting style is very special with brilliant colors and vivid brushing touch. Based on the belief of “ I paint my own way with different style and colors with myself in the painting”, her work focus on the pursuit of beauty and free style with constant innovation.

She held solo exhibition of oil painting for 6 times and joined both domestic and international group exhibition more than hundreds of times.

Through her 40 years of oil painting, she created many series include : Brilliant Flowers, Fantasia, Dancing Life, Human Body, Green Mood, Mother’s Love, Deep Life, Square and Circle, Six Colors Sound Wave and Cloud and Fog.

Current Duties: Chairman of Lanphoon Art Center.
